“I like to feel really light when I snowboard, of course you don’t want to be cold and you want to have a pocket for everything and all this, so I think I tried to make it as simple as possible with enough features I need.”

“I love this Outerwear because it’s light and comfy to ride in! My go to Volcom Jacket is the Brighton pullover in my signature colorway. I’ve been wearing pullovers for a couple years now, and it’s one of the best jackets out there! Same with the Vco Hunter Pant in my signature colorway! It’s got a Loose fit, so it feels super nice to ride in :).”

“I love the way it fits and how it traps in heat for being such a lightweight jacket. I wore the Elm-Gore bibs all season long and they’re amazing. Super comfy, warm and just the best for riding in the back country”

“Breathable.
Uniform of expression.
Garment allowing infinite movement, this, allowing infinite expression.
Something that takes on the shape of I / becoming me.
Something that ensures optimal condition for the brief yet accessible moments of perfection / only accessible through comfort.
Reflections of the earth in tone.
Something simple.
Yet in simplicity comes the truest things of comfort, warmth and accessibility to the many dances of this.”

“The X Jacket is a nice, slim comfortable fitting jacket. My favorite part about the jacket is that it doesn’t have a hood so you don’t have to carry that dead weight around with you when you snowboard. If you’re a hood guy then this isn’t the jacket for you, but if you’re looking for a comfortable, warm, hoodless jacket, this is the one for you.

I’m a fan of the hunter pants because of the fit. They are a little looser and just an all around comfortable pant."

"Best thing about the TDS® GORE-TEX Jacket is that it keeps you warm like a puffy jacket and still lightweight like a shell. When weather gets rough the TDS is my weapon.

Rain bib has become a part of me wherever I go on the mountain. It’s like wearing nothing, but still keeps me warm, dry and without snow getting in.

I’ve always had problems with gloves ripping from handling shovels and grabbing the steel edges of my board. With the gore gloves I don’t have to worry about bringing extras. They’ll last all day all season."

"The fabric is lightweight, waterproof, breathable and has a good amount of stretch which makes it incredibly comfortable all day, riding, hiking or touring."

"Volcom Outerwear... truly the best on the market! Always keeping me dry, warm and steezy."

"For cold days I have a couple pet peeves I try to control, obviously the first is to stay warm. I layer pieces together so that I can easily adjust if the conditions change, but I usually mix a GoreTex shell with insulation. This combo definitely keeps you warm and doesn’t feel too bulky. It also gives you the option of delayering if you get too warm.

I use the zip tech all day to keep both snow and cold air out of my midsection. For this type of day I’d use the Guide GoreTex Jacket and Pant, and the Puff Puff Give Jacket for my insulation."

"As someone who runs cold, having a kit that keeps me warm on cold days is literally a make it or break it! The key to staying warm and dry during a cold day on the mountain is layering. I always wear a breathable first layer followed by a puff jacket, topped off with a Gore-tex shell.

The great thing about having layers is that you can shed when you start to get hot to keep from sweating. Sweat is the #1 killer of staying warm. A gore shell for my top layer is my go-to for so many reasons, but especially on cold days because its light, completely waterproof and very breathable, which keeps moisture out and warmth in."

"The DEADLY STONES Jacket is tight because it's lightweight but still keeps you warm on the cold days days and cool on the hot ones. also has a really sleek design that pops but isn't flashy; paired up with a nice shorter and baggier fit making you look good with whatever pants you are wearing."

"I love Zip Tech®. I eat shit in powder all the time, but Zip Tech keeps me dry. Also convenient when laying in the snow/napping in the trees."
