“When you go on a trip somewhere, you subconsciously think of all the stereotypical postcard landscapes or monuments strongly tied up to its identity. Belgium is very often visually linked to the Manneken Pis, but when I arrived in front of it for the first time, I had a little giggle. Not a giggle of mockery or disappointment, on the contrary. It was a giggle of appreciation for Belgium’s humoristic mentality, the hype of this majestic statue that is actually the size of my cat, with all the pride that comes with it.
Other Belgian stereotypes are beer and fries, but this time, you really get what you expect. And with the local legends that we had the chance to encounter during the whole trip, the van-temperature-warm Jupiler cans from below the seats always tasted like the crispy freshest beer you could ever imagine chugging down your throat.” Oliv Gittler
Thanks to everyone we saw on the road,
And thanks for watching.
