Sam Ryser
Having played in and designed art for numerous bands and record labels, Sam Ryser has left an unmistakable visual mark on an international DIY underground spanning over a decade. This work culminated in the publication of Welcome to Dripper World: Sound and Vision by Sam Ryser (Sacred Bones, 2019), the first collection of Ryser's work named after the art and oddities shop he owned and operated single handedly out of a converted shipping container in Brooklyn from 2014 to ’19.
This space gave him a headquarters for not only distributing his own projects and artwork, but acted as a showcase for, and alongside, his contemporaries and influences. Ryser currently lives and works in his lifelong home, New York City.
